How my journey began
I am a California Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #129850), as well as an EMDR Certified Therapist (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). I am currently serving all of California virtually.
I have over five years of experience with individuals, adolescents, children, group therapy and couples. I have experience working in Outpatient and Residential programs with an emphasis on trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and Substance Use Disorder. I am a graduate of Texas Tech University with a BA in Human Development and Family Studies. After graduating and working with the State for several years, I found I wanted to help people in a more personal and in-depth manner. I decided to continue my education at John F. Kennedy University in California where I earned my MA in Counseling Psychology.
My main motivation is to provide a space for people to find freedom from the patterns, beliefs, and physical responses that are holding them back from living their fullest and most productive life. Since I can remember, I was the friend, family member, and sometimes even the stranger that people were drawn to confiding thoughts and feelings in that they found difficult sharing with others. I have experienced many highs and lows in life and know that healing, change, and growth are all possible. My deep care and passion for therapy guides me in providing a safe space for my patients, helping individuals explore and rediscover an empowering connection with themselves.
As we work together you can expect a safe and non-judgmental space to explore all parts of yourself, even the ones you may have difficulty examining or articulating. I believe trust is the foundation for any positive therapeutic relationship. You will be heard, valued, and empowered.
I know everyone’s healing journey looks different and we as humans need different support for our individual experiences. For this reason, I draw from various modalities to find what best suits your goals, values, strengths, and personality.

Healing is possible with the right support, guidance, and encouragement.
